Looking at some messages that have come across this list recently, it
looks like 5.51 had a bug that was fixed in 5.52 but 5.52 has another
bug that sounds like it might fix your experience. Looks like 5.53 will
fix everything, so you may want to downgrade to 5.50 and wait for 5.53.

Can you confirm whether simply waiting longer with 5.52 eventually
works? It sounds like a timeout is necessary on one end of the
connection before data from the other end is transferred with 5.52.
